For many years, Marc Flaig He is part of PRODINGER Verpackung AG and has played an active role in shaping the company's development. With his experience in internal operations, his broad product knowledge, and his keen understanding of customer needs, he ensures every day that inquiries are turned into suitable solutions.

From Initial Contact to Long-Term Collaboration

Marc's journey to PRODINGER began early on: He first came into contact with the company while still in school, partly through personal connections and partly through hands-on insights into the industry.

He began his business training at PRODINGER in Germany. When the company underwent changes in 2010, he had the opportunity to move to Switzerland—a decision Marc has never regretted. He says:

„I've come to stay.“

Marc has been with the company for over 15 years now and has witnessed its growth and development firsthand during that time.

In-Office Duties: More Than Just Quotes

As part of the internal sales team, Marc Flaig plays a key role in managing customer projects.

His main responsibilities include:

• Preparing and Calculating Quotes
• Procurement-Related Assessments and Supplier Management
• Handling project inquiries in close coordination with the field sales team
• Reviewing Samples and Adding New Products to the System
• Logistics Support: Coordinating and communicating with the warehouse; obtaining freight quotes for imports and placing freight orders
• Fleet Management: Marc manages our company vehicles as a secondary responsibility and serves as the main point of contact

Especially when dealing with more complex inquiries, he works closely with the field sales team. The focus is always on the best solution for the customer to find the right one, not just the first product that comes along.

Specialist in pallets and wood products

Marc's area of expertise is in Pallets and Wooden Packaging.

These include, among others:

• EURO pallets
• Pressed wood pallets
• Fiber-Molded Pallets
• Plastic pallets
• Wooden Crates and Crates

He is particularly fascinated by wood as a natural resource and its role in the economic cycle.

His personal favorite product: the Standard EURO pallet.

For example, if packaging materials are needed on short notice, he and the team are usually able to find a suitable solution—even if it’s just a temporary one at first.

What drives Marc Flaig every day is not just the work itself, but the environment: a strong team, quick decision-making, and the ability to overcome even difficult times together.

Balance in Movement and Travel

In his free time, Marc likes to stay active.

He spends a lot of time outdoors, enjoys traveling, and makes the most of his vacations, whether in the mountains or by the sea.

His hobbies also include watching educational documentaries and exploring technical and economic concepts. We wouldn't be surprised if we saw Marc sitting across from Günther Jauch one day.

A look into the future

Marc follows developments related to packaging laws, sustainability, and issues such as the EUDR with great interest.

He views the growing demands for transparency and traceability as an exciting challenge, both for the industry and for the company.
