When changing jobs within the industry - the conscious decision for PRODINGER

Nathalie has been January 1, 2007 part of PRODINGER Verpackung AG. She had previously worked in the packaging industry for several years. When looking for a new challenge, PRODINGER was high on her personal wish list as a new employer.

She got the job as Key Account Manager with persuasive skills, without a traditional job advertisement. For her, PRODINGER was the conscious choice for a corporate culture with short decision-making paths and flexible creative freedom.

As First woman in the sales force At PRODINGER, Nathalie took on responsibility right from the start. She worked 100 % until shortly before the birth of her first child and returned after maternity leave on an individually tailored part-time model. Thanks to her efficient way of working, she is able to meet the requirements of the market and customers. Independent working methods, personal responsibility and trust are still key values for her when working together.

Advice instead of quick sales

As Key Account Manager their focus is clearly on building and maintaining long-term, partnership-based customer relationships. She doesn't just want to supply her customers, she wants to understand their needs.

For them, this includes:

  • Insight into the packaging, logistics and production processes
  • Talks directly with users on site
  • Understanding of economic, technical and organizational challenges

With her many years of experience, she quickly recognizes potential for optimisation, be it through more efficient cardboard packaging, height creasing, quick-fold bottoms, film optimizations, suitable stuffing material or a reduction in cavities. For Nathalie, one thing is certain: "If you only look at the price, you might be gone tomorrow. Those who think in partnership will stay.

Link between market, customer and back office

In the team, Nathalie sees herself as Link between market, customer and back office. She prepares inquiries in a clear, structured and complete manner so that the office staff can work efficiently. At the same time, she exchanges information with colleagues to expand her specialist knowledge.

What Nathalie appreciates most about her work at PRODINGER is the combination of Personal responsibility, flexibility and agility. Decisions are made pragmatically, new products can be introduced quickly and unnecessary meetings without results are eliminated.

She loves providing advice, works efficiently, purposefully and without token visits. Every customer contact should create added value, be it through information on market changes, new legal requirements such as PPWR or EUDR or through specific suggestions for optimization.

What particularly motivates Nathalie is the The person behind the customer. Packaging solutions are not created for them at their desks, but where they are needed: In the packaging department, in the warehouse or in logistics.

Their strengths are particularly evident when it comes to individual or time-critical requirements: If packaging is missing, processes threaten to come to a standstill. With creativity, experience and flexibility, Nathalie often finds alternatives that work at short notice to keep operations running.

Favorite products and a look into the future

Nathalie doesn't have a single favorite product. Rather, she is enthusiastic about Constructive packaging solutions, that simplify processes.

She is particularly pleased when new, functioning solutions emerge from joint ideas with customers.

For the future, Nathalie hopes that PRODINGER will remain agile, open and cooperative, with sales-oriented employees who think for themselves and take responsibility.

She sees the upcoming legal requirements and sustainability issues not as a burden, but as an opportunity for real advice and customer loyalty.
