Administrative Assistant, Warehouse/Logistics Interface

Course load 100% (40 hours per week)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring and tracking delivery dates
  • Processing and coordination of shipping notices
  • Requesting and Processing Freight Quotes
  • Creation, coordination, and tracking of freight orders
  • Communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and external logistics service providers
  • Coordination with internal departments, particularly Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service
  • Processing and Documentation of Shipping Damage
  • Support for quality assurance measures in the areas of warehousing, transportation, and goods flow
  • Review and Resolution of Logistical Discrepancies
  • Maintenance of relevant data and processes in the ERP system
  • Creation and maintenance of reports, overviews, and documentation
  • Contributing to the further development and optimization of internal processes
  • Ensuring compliance with internal process and quality standards

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • A completed vocational training program in business or logistics, or a comparable qualification
  • At least some initial work experience in a business-related field
  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation management, or supplier coordination is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in administrative processes and business documentation
  • Excellent written and spoken German, as well as English proficiency for communicating with international business partners
