Since October 2022 Guido Trebbin Part of the PRODINGER Packaging AG in Switzerland. After 17 years at Prodinger in Germany, he decided to move across the border and now feels more than ever that he is in the right place. „After very good, intensive and productive discussions with Frank Prodinger and Tobias Sommer, both of whom I have known and respected for many years, it was clear to me: I want to continue my Experience and Passion to PRODINGER Verpackung AG in the future.“
Guido Trebbin's main task was and remains ambitious: to Industrial hygiene department supplier and customer side and, together with and in addition to the packaging sector, as a Strong brand in the Swiss market to establish.
Guido Trebbin benefits from the longstanding establishment of PRODINGER Verpackung AG and the close, uncomplicated cooperation within the team. „I particularly like the fact that we have short decision-making paths and work in a small, powerful team. That makes a lot of things easier and faster,“ he explains proudly.
Years ago, PRODINGER Verpackung AG was still completely unknown as a potential supplier for industrial hygiene. Today, PRODINGER Verpackung AG is known and recognized throughout Switzerland as a high-performance supplier in the field of industrial hygiene and occupational safety.
Together with Barbara Oliveira in the office Guido Trebbin forms a well-coordinated team of two: „I can only praise my collaboration with Barbara to the skies. She is extremely reliable, responsible and independent. We are strategically on an equal footing.“
In his customer work, Guido Trebbin attaches great importance to personal exchange and long-term relationships. „I don't see myself as an order collector. My goal is to establish industrial hygiene as a trustworthy, high-performance partner for our customers with concept solutions that bring economic optimization.“
Many successful projects with well-known market leaders show that this approach works: „With every customer acquisition, we were not only able to implement the promised optimizations, no, we were even able to significantly exceed them. This is exactly what end customers confirm to me time and time again. That is the best confirmation of our work.“
Guido appreciates the entrepreneurial freedom he has at PRODINGER Verpackung AG: „I work with a strong team, excellent products and reliable suppliers. Thanks to the open structures, I see myself almost as an independent entrepreneur in a successful company, with short lines of communication and a lot of personal responsibility.“
Guido Trebbin finds the balance to his day-to-day work in the Travel (for example on city trips in Europe), in the Sport and in the voluntary commitment on the board of a Portuguese football club. But he is even happier about his family: „My first grandchild has been my biggest hobby for a year and a half and the second is soon to follow. What could be better?“ he says, his eyes shining.
Guido Trebbin finds the Digitalization in industrial hygiene, such as the ICON washroom concept with real-time fill level display from Kimberly-Clark. The first implementation is planned for 2026. „At first I was skeptical about this dispenser series with sensor technology, but today I am thrilled. ICON offers nothing but advantages for the user, for example the long battery life, the attractive appearance, the residual roll function and the individual setting options. This is a product with real added value.“
In conclusion, Guido Trebbin has one wish above all: „I hope that we continue to maintain our honest, open and informal approach, with team spirit and thinking outside the box. After the turbulent last few years with crises and uncertainties, I hope that calm returns to the market and that we remain successful.“
