40% less packaging material used by e-commerce retailers in the do-it-yourself sector

Today we would like to tell you about a successful project in the field of Material- und Kosteneinsparungen report.

An e-commerce retailer in the DIY sector purchases a large number of products from us. Among other things, we are also allowed to supply the complete stuffing material. When analyzing the sales figures, our sales consultant Benjamin Vögtler noticed that the company a six-figure sum (!) for tamping material issued.

That seemed pretty high to him and he wanted to get to the bottom of it.

And indeed, the employees used much more stuffing material than was actually necessary during packaging. It would be sensible to form the stuffing material into snails and only place it in the box where it actually makes sense.
